Thammy is the owner of the recording studios named Studio 12 which is based in Highlands North, Gauteng. With his growing passion within the recording industrt he has taken Studio 12 to the next level by bringing in more young South African Artists to come and record there with some having done their mentorship programs there.
We have successfully produced music in the following genres which have sold multi platinum awards – genres from Mbaqanga, Afro-Pop, Kwaito, R&B, Gospel to Jazz, New- Age Maskandi and Hip-Hop
Artist like Bekumuzi Luthuli, Phuzekhemisi, Ihashelimhlophe, Winnie Mashaba, Berita, Kaya of Kunzima fame, Solly Moholo, IPCC, Rebecca Malope, Alex Brass Band, Galathia. Mbuzeni. Intombi Emnyama, Thulani Manana, Imacsoul, Mbuelelo, Noir Soul, 12 Apostoles, Amanazaretha, Fezeka, Lesego Manox and many more have graced the recording booth
His belief is well mouthed in his own words: “We want to make Studio 12 one of South Africa’s best recording studios. Already we have many of the major record companies using the facilities as well as other independent artists. We aim to offer world-class equipment and high grade skills.”
